OMG, it's been so long since I've written a journal, let alone put up a deviation! I feel so much better now that all my art is up. :) And there is more to come! I'm working on a city floating on islands... It's somewhat inspired by Castle in the Sky, and by a beautiful picture I saw in the book Flight volume one. If anyone's read it, it's from the story Copper - "Maiden Voyage" by Kazu Kibuishi. It's that picture of the highly industrialized city, with all the buildings on top of each other, a railroad near the bottom of the page, and a plane flying over everything. I've always loved the ideas of either insane industrialization or nothing but nature... I'm a person of extremes, yes. =P Anyway, the picture I'll be submitting will be done on Photoshop, and the islands in the sky are from Castle in the Sky, and the buildings and the plane are inspired by "Maiden Voyage". <3 Hopefully I'll remember how to use Photoshop, lol. I haven't used it for a few years at least.
